Longtime journalist wants to help others learn
I have always loved journalism and writing and history and current events. I grew up outside Buffalo. I majored in journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. After graduating, I spent five years working at a newspaper in El Paso, Texas. After that, I moved to Syracuse and worked for the Syracuse Herald-Journal, and, later, The Post-Standard, where I work to this day. My father was a professor and my sister is now.
